Akronauplia
The Acronafplia is the Acropolis Nafplio. The Turks called the Its-Kale, an inner fortress. The fort was built by the Franks, came to the hands of the Byzantines and then the Turks. The Acronafplia were preparing to war in 1821. In Kapodistrian years, built a church and a hospital. Later the fort became a «prison Kolokotroni I.», which was driven there on charges of involvement in organizing and action against the regime.
